Walking through my mind

Walking through my mind is the Hayward's current exhibition. It showcases exhibits from ten artists who explore their own unique creative processes. This image is an extension of the work by Yayoi Kusama and runs along the southbank, but you can also wander through the thoughts of Thomas Hirschhorn, who has built his brain as a cave for us to wander through or my favourite, Chiharu Shiota. Shiota has created a massive dreamlike web inside which float oversized spirit like dresses.... While there is a slightly self-indulgent aspect to this type of work, I think it's a good thing to think about the different processes we go through as individuals in moving towards an understanding of our world.
