Freelance front end developers
Position: Contract
Location: Norwich
We’re currently looking for freelance front end developers who can be based in our Norwich office.
We’re after people with a positive and confident approach and who have experience of developing solid cross-browser compatible, web standards compliant templates. You should also be aware of individual browser bugs, and modern techniques for creating robust, scalable code.
The core skills we're looking for are:
HTML / (X)HTML 4.01
Javascript (native and jQuery library)
CSS 2.1
Web standards compliant
Understands progressive enhancement & graceful degradation
Accessibility aware
Semantic markup
Modern styling techniques such as: Image replacement, sIFR / Cufon, sprites etc.
We'd be interested to know if you have any of these additional skills, too:
PHP
MySQL
Subversion (SVN)
And we work with these browers:
Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8
Safari 3 & 4
Mozilla Firefox 2 & 3
Opera 9
Google Chrome
